Contemporary art and exhibition photography by Daniel Schäfer Studio documenting British artist Martin Creed at Hauser & Wirth Menorca, located on Illa del Rei in Mahón harbour.

Presented from 25 April to 7 June 2026, the exhibition explored Creed’s distinctive approach to art through painting, installation and the transformation of everyday materials into unexpected visual and spatial experiences.

At the centre of the presentation, Work No. 3891: Half the air in a given space transformed the gallery into an immersive environment filled with balloons, inviting visitors to move through the installation and experience the space in an entirely different way.

The exhibition also featured wall paintings, extending Creed’s exploration of colour, repetition and the relationship between artistic intervention and architectural space.

Commissioned by Hauser & Wirth, Daniel Schäfer Studio’s photographic documentation captures the exhibition’s spatial character, the relationship between artworks and architecture, and the temporary transformation of the gallery.
