ERIKA GÓMEZ.
Conceptual Direction & Editorial Practice
Erika Gómez works at the intersection of communication, conceptual construction, visual languages, and narrative systems, focusing her practice on how perception is configured around brands, spaces, and identities within the fields of architecture, interiors, art, hospitality and luxury brands.
With more than 30 years of experience in marketing, brand strategy, trend analysis, and leadership roles within international companies, her work has consistently explored how communication shapes cultural and commercial contexts. Alongside her professional practice, her work as a lecturer across universities and business schools further deepened her understanding of how narratives influence perception and shape the way we understand the world.
In parallel to her work within companies, she has continuously developed entrepreneurial projects connecting communication and contemporary culture. However, it was her encounter with Daniel Schäfer that marked a decisive shift, reorienting her work towards a more independent and author-led practice through the development of Daniel Schäfer Photography, Myra Vidal Art Show, ALMA Visual Communication, and CasaCalma Menorca.
Within the studio, her role centres on shaping the frameworks through which images acquire sense, coherence, consistency and intention. Moving between intuition and structure, she transforms individual images into coherent bodies of work, sustaining distinct visual languages over time through conceptual direction, narrative construction, visual selection and writing.

“I’m interested in how communication, narrative systems, and visual languages allow architects, artists, interior designers, and brands to capture attention, express identity, and connect with their audiences through visual experiences that generate desire.”
