Daniel Schäfer Studio is an image-making practice working across Architecture, Interiors, Hospitality, Art and Contemporary Culture.
Led by Daniel Schäfer and Erika Gómez, the studio brings two complementary practices into dialogue: photography and visual direction, conceptual thinking and editorial construction. An ongoing exchange that shapes the distinctive approach behind every commission.
Rather than producing isolated images, Daniel Schäfer Studio develops photographic bodies of work that move beyond documentation into a field of experience, where light, composition and atmosphere shape perception.
Each project is approached through the development of a visual language conceived specifically for its context and intended to endure over time.

Practice.
At the core of the studio’s practice lies a tension between perception and construction:
On one side, the image as an act of seeing: immediate, intuitive, sensory.
On the other, the image as a system: articulated, structured, sustained.
This dual approach allows each image to feel both spontaneous and precise, while remaining part of a broader visual narrative. Intuition and precision are not opposing forces, but complementary ways of constructing an image, allowing each photograph to acquire its own presence while contributing to a coherent body of work.
