An architectural and luxury hotel interior photography series by Daniel Schäfer, documenting The Villa at The Florentin Hotel Frankfurt, part of Althoff Collection and reimagined by atelier zürich.

Originally built in 1901 as Villa Speyer, the historic residence forms the architectural heart of The Florentin, bringing together the character of its original architecture and a contemporary approach to luxury hospitality.

The photographic series explores the dialogue between architectural heritage and contemporary interiors, tracing the relationship between proportions, materials, natural light and atmosphere. From the building's architectural details to its carefully composed interior spaces, the images reveal a sense of continuity between past and present.

Developed through Daniel Schäfer Studio, the photographic narrative brings together Daniel Schäfer's distinctive approach to architectural and interior photography with the studio's broader editorial vision. Styling by Erika Gómez contributes to the visual interpretation of the spaces, reinforcing the dialogue between architecture, design and atmosphere.

Rather than presenting architecture and interiors as separate subjects, the photographs explore how they come together to shape the experience of a place.
