Workout Offices. Madrid in Love, Fernando Higueras. Madrid.

Architectural and interior photography by Daniel Schäfer Studio documenting the headquarters of Workout Events in Madrid, designed by Madrid in Love Studio within an iconic building by Spanish architect Fernando Higueras.

Located in the heart of Madrid, the project transforms three levels of the original concrete structure into a contemporary workplace. The intervention preserves the building’s distinctive brutalist character while introducing a warmer, more intimate atmosphere through natural wood, soft lighting and abundant vegetation.

A central staircase and integrated shelving system connect the different floors, organising open workspaces, meeting rooms and communal areas. Long wooden workstations, carefully considered lighting and material contrasts establish a dialogue between the existing architecture and the new interior design.

The photographic series explores this relationship between architectural heritage and contemporary workplace design, capturing the building’s sculptural concrete structure, the warmth of the new interiors and the spatial rhythm connecting the different levels.

The project was featured in Diariodesign, AD España and HomeWorldDesign.
