Allegra Restaurant. Quintana Partners, Madrid.

Interior and hospitality photography by Daniel Schäfer Studio documenting Allegra Restaurant, an Italian restaurant in Madrid designed by Quintana Partners for Isabella’s Group.

Founded by Benito Escat and Pol Castells, Quintana Partners conceived Allegra as a contemporary interpretation of the classic Opera Café, bringing together Art Deco influences, the intimacy of a piano bar and the theatrical atmosphere of an evening celebration.

Located in Madrid’s Salamanca district, the restaurant unfolds through richly layered interiors, where expressive textiles, saturated colours, patterned surfaces and vintage-inspired furnishings create an eclectic yet carefully orchestrated visual language.

The design brings together architectural details, decorative contrasts and playful references, including a space inspired by tarot imagery and a room displaying forty portraits. Together, these elements establish a distinctive identity that moves between hospitality, performance and contemporary interior design.

Commissioned by Quintana Partners, Daniel Schäfer Studio’s photographic documentation explores the relationship between spatial composition, colour, materiality and atmosphere, capturing the restaurant’s expressive interiors and theatrical character.

The project has been featured by Dedar, while a photograph by Daniel Schäfer was also published in Architectural Digest France as part of an editorial feature on bathroom design trends.
