Chris Glass Private Residence, Berlin.
The private residence of American interior stylist Chris Glass in Berlin-Mitte reflects a deeply personal approach to interiors, where art, collected objects and contrasting materials create a distinctive domestic atmosphere.
Conceived as a retreat from the energy of the city, the apartment brings together an eclectic mix of vintage furniture, contemporary design and artworks by emerging artists. A deep green entrance hall gives way to a living space characterised by pale grey wooden floors, concrete-effect walls, velvet upholstery and industrial metal shelving.
Among the carefully selected pieces is Hans J. Wegner's iconic Wishbone Chair, set alongside marble, leather, glass and objects collected during travels. In the bedroom, softer tones introduce a quieter, more intimate atmosphere.
Rather than following a single decorative language, the interiors reveal Chris Glass's instinctive way of combining different periods, textures and cultural references. The result is a home shaped by personal experience, creative expression and a strong sense of individuality.
Photographed by Daniel Schäfer Studio, the series documents the relationship between interiors, objects and the personal world of their inhabitant.
